PLM-501D
The MuLogic PLM-501
is a modem for PLC/DLC communication over power
lines and cables.
The modem can be
used in point-to-point and multipoint network configuration and
operates in
half-duplex mode. Various SCADA protocols are supported.
The PLM-501can
operate at line rates up to 16kbit/s
and serial port rates up to 115.2 kbit/s.
Both RS232 and RS485 interfaces are present.
The modem can be connected directly to LV lines up to 240Vac
(phase-neutral connection).
For 3-phase-neutral LV and connection to MV lines or cables, external
couplers are used.
MuLogic can
supply various types and dimensions of couplers to best suit your
environment.
Impedance matching units are available to match to couplers of other
manufacturers.
